Battlefield 1 is a first-person shooter (FPS) video game released in 2016. It was developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts.

The Game of World War I

Battlefield 1 is the fifteenth game in the Battlefield series. It was released for Xbox One, Playstation 4, and Windows PC. The game takes you into the explosive warfare of World War I. You would assume that the old-school arsenal would not be as exciting as its modern counterpart, but you would be wrong. The game developers have managed to create a gameplay that is as exciting and thrilling as any war game.

Graphics, Sound, and Gameplay

Battlefield 1 provides an immersive war experience with amazing graphics and realistic sounds. You will feel the chaos, excitement, and grittiness of the battlefield. The explosions, the flying bullets, and the heart-pounding actions are used to tell a genuine story about the characters in this world of bloodshed and mayhem.

The single-player campaign, War Stories, uses documentary-style storytelling to give the perspectives of multiple characters. The multiplayer mode keeps true to the open-world combat of the Battlefield series to provide a marvelous game experience. The brand new multiplayer Operations mode allows teams to play as attacking and defending teams to keep control of the map, and it is one of the most enjoyable innovations in this game.

Battlefield 1 has managed to revitalize the series. Through going back to the past, it has managed to bring a fresh perspective to the gameplay that Battlefield ardent fans will enjoy. The single-player campaign is only five hours and the load times are sometimes slow. Even with these faults, Battlefield 1 provides an engaging game that players all over the world will enjoy.

  • Great graphics and sound during warfare
  • Solid campaign and multiplayer gameplay
  • Innovative use of WWI-era weapons and machinery

  • Single-player campaign is too short
  • Long load times
